What makes them 3 dimensional?
Unlike flat prints, our icons have a raised surface that you can both see and feel.
The texture follows the details of the sacred image, giving physical definition to the garments, faces, and other elements of the iconography.
Combined with the gold leaf beneath the acrylic, this creates a layered appearance with visible depth.
What goes into making each one?
Each icon begins with gold leaf, carefully applied by hand to a finished wooden plaque. The sacred image is then printed with raised texture onto a thick acrylic sheet, which is placed over the gold leaf.
This combines hand-applied gold leaf with modern printing to create an icon with physical depth and texture.
Are they made under Orthodox guidance?
We have received a blessing to reproduce historical Orthodox iconography and operate under the guidance of our spiritual father within the Serbian Orthodox Patriarchate.
Our icons are not individually blessed by a priest before shipping. We encourage you to bring your icon to your local Orthodox priest for a blessing.
