Story of this Icon
Christ: based on the Image of Edessa - a holy relic consisting of a piece of cloth upon which the face of Jesus had been miraculously imprinted, it is known as the first icon.
Theotokos: based on the Diveyevo Tenderness Icon of the Mother of God. It depicts the Theotokos without the Christ Child and represents the moment of the Annunciation.
Our wooden icons are crafted with care, but natural wood may slightly warp over time.

It's different yet perfect in every way. The size is not too small or too big. There's no colours added yet it stands out with the gold leaf finish on halo. Even the hand written thank you card with a 10% off the next purchase.. just PERFECT !
